Father's Day Card #2

This card is for my grandchildren to give to their papa for Father's Day.  Their papa (my son) is a baseball fan.  I used the Circle Card thinlit die from Stampin Up.  It's retired now but hadn't been used in quite a while.  The inspiration came from a card I saw on Pinterest by Rachel Tessman of Stamp Your Art Out here.

Everything is Stampin Up except the dsp from my local craft store (far right panel). All retired now except the card stock and Tailored Tag punch with the sentiment. I held on to all the sport related sets I had because I just "knew" I'd need them someday. I fussy cut the baseball, bat and cap.

Thanks for stopping in today.

Father's Day Card #1

I made this card for my daughter-in-law to give to her step dad.  I saw variations of this on Pinterest so just incorporated what I thought I could do with my supplies.  I love how it turned out.  All supplies are current Stampin Up products.

Heartfelt Creations Sweet Shoppe Card

I fell in love with the Heartfelt Creations Sugarspun collection.  The Sweet Shoppe stamp and die are part of the collection along with really sweet cupcake images.  However I turned my cart into an Ice Cream cart.  Anyone who knows me knows how much I like my ice cream!  And you won't be surprised to know I have more ice cream related stamps than any other.

I've colored the cart with Copic markers and a Spectrum Noir Metallic Silver marker.  I've used Neenah Solar White and some retired Stampin Up Pixie Pink card stock with the Decorative Dots
embossing folder.  The bow is some silver cording I've had in my stash forever.  The Sweet Shoppe sentiment is part of the Sugarspun collection and was heat embossed with black embossing powder.

This card was my first attempt at using the stamp and die from this collection.  I'm going to see what else I can do with it.  I'm really happy with the way this one turned out.

Thanks for stopping in today.  Hope you're enjoying some spring weather where you are.

Wonderful Romance Easter Card

I saw this design by Debbie Henderson here and loved it.  I made mine with an additional layer of gold foil paper.  The gold foil leaves are cut out of the middle. The large floral image is from the Wonderful Romance Stampin Up stamp set.  It is embossed with gold embossing powder and die cut with the matching die. And I used the Country Floral embossing folder and a few pearls.  I thought her card was beautiful and just had to make one too.

Thanks for stopping in today.  Happy Easter to all who celebrate Easter.

Candy Easter Baskets

My grandkids love Kit Kats!  I cased this basket from "Just Sponge It", Cindy Wilkinson's blog.  The candy bars were hot glued together and a bottom added from a piece of dsp packaging.  Wrapped it up in a cello bag and ribbon from Stampin Up.  Instead of a card I made large tags from two stamps I've had for ages.

Aside from burning my fingers on hot glue this was a fun project to make.  I know the kids will love the candy!

Easter Bunny Cards

Love this bunny from the Stampin Up Fable Friends set.  I made several of these in different colors.  I used the Basket Weave embossing folder as well.  I saw several versions of this design on Pinterest and decided to make them.  It was a quick and easy card to make.  Colored with my Blends and forgot to give him some ground to stand on...oh well.  He is cute though.

Thanks for visiting.

Crafty Turnabout

When I saw this set from Concord & 9th I knew I wanted it.  And I knew the first card I made would go to a special crafty friend in Pennsylvania, Nancy at Nanny's Pansy Patch here.
I purchased the bundle that included the dies to cut out many of the images.  You can check it out and see the video here.

The ink and cardstock are all from Stampin Up.  I love that you can change the colors as you "Turnabout" the stamp.  It doesn't take much to get the hang of it.  It's a fun stamp set to play with.
