Back on Your Feet Easel Card

I originally saw this card at Addinktive Designs here.  I found instructions for making a triple easel card on Splitcoast Stampers.  I tweaked them a little but the card still fits in a standard A2 envelope.  The Stampin Up Back on Your Feet set was on my "must have" list.  But I only had a few pieces of the Mosaic paper from a paper share.  Happily I was able to make it work.  My card is pretty much a total case of Bronwyn's with a few tweaks to make it work with what I had on hand. I absolutely love her design.  So I had to see if I could make one too.

All the paper and images are Stampin Up.  Thanks for stopping in today.

Hardest Goodbye Sympathy Card

My friend recently lost her beloved companion of
12 years, Hannah.  I've known Hannah all of her 12 years with my friend.  I will miss her too.  I made this card for my friend.

The sentiment is from Whimsey Stamps.  The image is Penny Black.

Coffin Wreath for Halloween

I love making Halloween decorations and this year Stampin Up had coffins!  There are 12 in a pack.  I used 24 coffins to make my wreath.  The tops of the coffins were embossed with the Stylish Scroll embossing folder from SU and decorated with a product called Glimmer Kiss, a paste-like goop with glitter in it.  The middle is black glimmer paper. The large bat was cut with my Silhouette Cameo 3 in black and purple glimmer paper from Michaels.  The orange "boo" was cut with SU pumpkin pie glimmer paper from my stash.  I made the bow with a bow dabra.  Everything was glued together with hot glue.

Wiggle Worm Birthday

I really don't like bugs!  But these little bugs are so darn cute.  Inspiration came from Patty Bennett's blog here.  I put the shaker tag on a card and gave it my own little spin.  I'm not a fan of sequins. I have some but I preferred to use prills on this tag.  All the elements on this card are from the Stampin Up Wiggle Worm bundle in the 2019 annual catalog except the prills which are from Heartfelt Creations.

Thoughts and prayers are with everyone in the path of hurricane Dorian.

Geared Up Birthday Card

Made this card for my friend Joe in Pennsylvania.  Joe's birthday is today!  Happy Birthday my friend.  I found the details here.
It uses the Stampin Up Geared Up Garage and You've Got This stamp sets.  I think it makes a great "guy" card.

Thanks for visiting today.  Have a great week.

Floral Book Box

I fell in love with this box from The Serene Stamper.  The directions can be found here. The cardstock and paper are Stampin Up.  The flowers are from Heartfelt Creations, the Small Sweet Peony Stamp and Die.  This was my first serious attempt to make these flowers the Heartfelt Creations way.  I will be making more since I love them.

It's hot again here so that means more time to practice making flowers!  Hope you are comfortable where you are.  Thanks for visiting.

Very Versailles Heirloom Frames

New in the 2019-2020 catalog are the Heirloom Frames and Embossing Folders.  I was drawn to them right away and ordered them first thing.  Here's my first attempt at making a card with them.  Everything I used is Stampin Up.

Stamps: Very Versailles, Climbing Orchid (retired) for sentiment
Ink: Mossy Meadow
CS: Wh. White, Mossy Meadow
Accessories: Heirloom Frames and Emb. Folders,
Mossy Meadow thick bakers twine, Subtles Emb. Folder, dimensionals under center oval.

I am really pleased with the way this turned out.  It usually takes me forever to turn my thought into an actual card as it did with this card too.  At least I like it.

It is excruciatingly HOT here today so I'm not leaving the house.  The dog however is going to get a bath!  Hope you are comfortable where you are.

Thanks for stopping in today.

Last Day of School Today!

Today is my Granddaughter Cora's last day of school for the year.  She's leaving 4th grade behind so I'm taking her to lunch today.  I made the Ice Cream cart from a Heartfelt Creations die, Sugarspun collection, and filled it with some goodies for her to celebrate the occasion.

Happy Summer

Fathers Day Card - Last One

I had ordered Stampin Up's A Good Man set at the last minute.  It came in time for me to make this card for my son.  He really is a good Dad and I'm so very proud of him.

Thanks for having a look today.

And Another Father's Day Card (#3)

This card I made to give my son just in case the Stampin Up "A Good Man" set I ordered didn't arrive on time.  The golf bag with clubs is an old stamp I had in my stash.  He's a golfer so he'll like it I hope.  And he's a good man and father so maybe he'll get two cards from his Mom!

Happy Father's Day!

Thanks for visiting.

Father's Day Card #2

This card is for my grandchildren to give to their papa for Father's Day.  Their papa (my son) is a baseball fan.  I used the Circle Card thinlit die from Stampin Up.  It's retired now but hadn't been used in quite a while.  The inspiration came from a card I saw on Pinterest by Rachel Tessman of Stamp Your Art Out here.

Everything is Stampin Up except the dsp from my local craft store (far right panel). All retired now except the card stock and Tailored Tag punch with the sentiment. I held on to all the sport related sets I had because I just "knew" I'd need them someday. I fussy cut the baseball, bat and cap.

Thanks for stopping in today.

Father's Day Card #1

I made this card for my daughter-in-law to give to her step dad.  I saw variations of this on Pinterest so just incorporated what I thought I could do with my supplies.  I love how it turned out.  All supplies are current Stampin Up products.

Heartfelt Creations Sweet Shoppe Card

I fell in love with the Heartfelt Creations Sugarspun collection.  The Sweet Shoppe stamp and die are part of the collection along with really sweet cupcake images.  However I turned my cart into an Ice Cream cart.  Anyone who knows me knows how much I like my ice cream!  And you won't be surprised to know I have more ice cream related stamps than any other.

I've colored the cart with Copic markers and a Spectrum Noir Metallic Silver marker.  I've used Neenah Solar White and some retired Stampin Up Pixie Pink card stock with the Decorative Dots
embossing folder.  The bow is some silver cording I've had in my stash forever.  The Sweet Shoppe sentiment is part of the Sugarspun collection and was heat embossed with black embossing powder.

This card was my first attempt at using the stamp and die from this collection.  I'm going to see what else I can do with it.  I'm really happy with the way this one turned out.

Thanks for stopping in today.  Hope you're enjoying some spring weather where you are.

Wonderful Romance Easter Card

I saw this design by Debbie Henderson here and loved it.  I made mine with an additional layer of gold foil paper.  The gold foil leaves are cut out of the middle. The large floral image is from the Wonderful Romance Stampin Up stamp set.  It is embossed with gold embossing powder and die cut with the matching die. And I used the Country Floral embossing folder and a few pearls.  I thought her card was beautiful and just had to make one too.

Thanks for stopping in today.  Happy Easter to all who celebrate Easter.

Candy Easter Baskets

My grandkids love Kit Kats!  I cased this basket from "Just Sponge It", Cindy Wilkinson's blog.  The candy bars were hot glued together and a bottom added from a piece of dsp packaging.  Wrapped it up in a cello bag and ribbon from Stampin Up.  Instead of a card I made large tags from two stamps I've had for ages.

Aside from burning my fingers on hot glue this was a fun project to make.  I know the kids will love the candy!

Easter Bunny Cards

Love this bunny from the Stampin Up Fable Friends set.  I made several of these in different colors.  I used the Basket Weave embossing folder as well.  I saw several versions of this design on Pinterest and decided to make them.  It was a quick and easy card to make.  Colored with my Blends and forgot to give him some ground to stand on...oh well.  He is cute though.

Thanks for visiting.

Crafty Turnabout

When I saw this set from Concord & 9th I knew I wanted it.  And I knew the first card I made would go to a special crafty friend in Pennsylvania, Nancy at Nanny's Pansy Patch here.
I purchased the bundle that included the dies to cut out many of the images.  You can check it out and see the video here.

The ink and cardstock are all from Stampin Up.  I love that you can change the colors as you "Turnabout" the stamp.  It doesn't take much to get the hang of it.  It's a fun stamp set to play with.

Thanks for visiting today.

Petal Palette Just A Note

This card is almost a total case of a card made by Su Mohr here. I needed a "just a note" card to send to a friend and this fit the bill perfectly.
Plus it gave me an opportunity to put some ink on previously un-inked stamps and put my new stitched rectangle dies from Stampin Up to work.

Stamps:  Petal Palette, Flourishing Phrases

Happy New Year and thanks for visiting today.
